Indian paintings

to the present day. This form of art in India is vivid and lively,
refined and sophisticated and bold and vigorous at the same time. From
being essentially religious in purpose in the beginning, Indian
paintings have evolved over the years to become a fusion of various
traditions which influenced them. The common types of painting are -

Archana Sharma, has painted over 1400 paintings including fabric, glass, oil, water and even rangolis that are painted on floors. Making rangolis (painting on floors) during festivals is an auspicious belief in India. Almost every hindu in India paints rangoli so as to worship his God.
